The caption of the Ha-Aretz article doesn't reflect the articles content. As usual with Ha-Aretz.

"Should israel try to "make a crater out of Gaza", the state would be ultimately put under international isolation, if not just turned to sand by the united effort of surrounding muslim countries."

1. The majority of surrounding Muslim countries will be more than happy to get rid of the Palestinians. Especially Egypt and Kuwait.
2. This is not the point, actually. The point is that the World media eats everything the Arabs feed it.

1. Kuwait hates the Palestinians for supporting Saddam's invasion in 1990.
2. Israel is not interested in controlling the entire Muslim population in Palestine, because in this case it will have to grant them citizenship. And then - good bye, Jewish state.
3. If Israel was intending to kill them all, 60 years would be more than enough. But if you check the demography, there's a positive Arab immigration balance to the "West Bank" and Gaza almost ever since the Israeli control over those lands. Because a vast majority of them were working in Israel and this gave a steady income. Until the Israeli leftists decided to bring Arafat gang and sign a "peace agreement" because that would give them an electoral support.
4. More than that, 20% of Israeli population itself are Arabs. Citizens, with every civil right, with Arab parties in the Israeli Parliament (the Knesset). Persecution? Come on... They even have privileges when applying to the universities, because the policy is "educated Arab == peaceful Arab".
5. So 60% of the media is hosted by the US, but "owned"? Come on... The US government can't tell the media what to publish. The only pro-Israeli TV-News station in the US is Fox. CNN is clearly pro-Palestinian. And BBC could beat the Russian Channel 1 in it's pro-Arabism.
6. Israel tries to show the real picture, not the "utter lies". The Arabs are champions in those "utter lies". Remember the infamous "Jenin Massacre"? How the Arab media was feeding the World with claims about thousands of killed? And then at the end it was discovered, that only a small portion of a city was actually destroyed and only about 50 people killed, almost all of them terrorists.
7. Would Arab media show you something like this?

UN today is semi-Muslim and ultra-left organization. It wasn't so in 47, because there were almost no Muslim or their African friend states at that time in the UN. Just look at this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UN_Partition_Plan#The_vote.
Another thing, there were no Muslim militant minorities in Europe then, so the European countries had no fear of having something like the riots in France few years ago. It's like comparing two totally different organization.

The BBC ever were pro-Arab station, there's nothing new. And the CNN is a leftist station and that says it all.

As for the image, I can't see anything wrong there beside the ALLEGED magen-david on the neck of the HAMAS terrorist on the left. With such an image quality it might as well be falsified. What are the two arrows on the right side pointing at? What's the source, BTW?

And that means you have nothing really significant to claim. As per UN, I just offer you to go and count the Muslim countries there, together with their allies. Like Russia and Venezuela, for example.

Thank you for enlightening me about Russia and Venezuela. Probably, you don't know what the word "ally" means.

I'm sorry I spent so much of my precious time on talking to the wall. Good night.
